Diane M. Capone, 76, remembered for her love of fine wines

Diane M. Capone, of Williamsburg, died May 29, 2015, at home. She was 76.

She was born Dec. 9, 1938, at Chelsea Naval Hospital in Chelsea, Massachusetts. She graduated from Rosary Academy in Watertown, Massachusetts.

Diane married Francis Capone in February of 1960 and moved to Hampton. The couple had three children. Diane was involved in her children’s activities. She was a Girl Scout leader and a den mother in Cub Scouts. Diane was also very active in WHRO fundraiser activities.

Diane and Francis moved to Williamsburg in 2002. Diane will always be remembered for her love of fine wines. She also was very active with Francis in Colonial Italian American Organization.

Left to cherish Diane’s memory are her loving husband of 55 years, Francis; her daughter and son-in-law, Colette and Daryl Moody, of Hampton; her daughter and son-in-law, Cathleen and Jimmy Norville, of Carrollton; her son and daughter-in-law, Joe and Mary Capone, of Hampton; her three granddaughters who loved their Irish grandmother, Nonni, Stephanie Payne and her husband, Jeremy, Caitlyn and Emily Moody.
