Kelly Dreyfuss Resigns as York Head Volleyball Coach

York HighYork High will begin searching for two volleyball coaches after longtime coach Kelly Dreyfuss and assistant Alexandra Armstead resigned from their positions last week.

Dreyfuss, who headed York’s volleyball program for eight years, resigned from the position for unknown reasons.

Dreyfuss declined to comment on her resignation.

York Athletic Director John Ashley confirmed the resignations for both coaches, but declined further comment.

The York County School Division has two job postings – one for each coaching position – listed as available for the 2015-16 season.

The Falcons finished their season 10-14, including a 5-13 Bay Rivers District record. Their season ended with a 3-0 loss to Lafayette in the Conference 25 quarterfinals.
