Cameron Dail scored a hat trick to help lead York to a commanding 6-0 home victory against New Kent in the Conference 25 semifinals on Thursday.
York did most of its damage on the offensive end on fast-break opportunities, catching the New Kent defense off guard.
The Falcons opened the game with a Dail goal that came off a cross from Bailey McClure from the left side of the field. Dail found himself with the ball beside the back post, tapping the ball in to put York on top.
York controlled the pace of play in the first half, building a 4-0 halftime lead over the Trojans.
Dail completed his hat trick within the final minute of play, receiving a ball down the middle of the field by McClure before finishing the shot in the right side of the net.
The win means York (13-2-2) will host Warhill in the Conference 25 semifinals on Tuesday.

Tabb Overcomes Powhatan Late
Allen Blair scored the game-winning goal with less than two minutes remaining to give Tabb a 2-1 road victory against Powhatan in the Conference 19 quarterfinals.
Derek Cook assisted on Blair’s game-winning goal, while also adding a first-half goal that was assisted by Andrew Lenfant.
Tabb (7-6-2) will advance to the Conference 19 semifinals on Wednesday, where the Tigers will visit top-seeded Jamestown.

Warhill Defeats Colonial Heights in Conference 25 Quarterfinals
Jared Ford scored a pair of goals to help give Warhill a 2-0 home win against Colonial Heights in the Conference 25 quarterfinals on Thursday.
Warhill moves to 6-4-2 on the season and advances to take on York in the Conference 25 semifinals, which will be played Tuesday.

Lafayette Routs Southampton
The Lafayette boys soccer team easily defeated Southampton 7-0 at home Thursday in the Conference 25 quarterfinals.
Lafayette jumped out in front early, building a 4-0 halftime lead before tacking on three second-half goals to put the game well out of reach.
The Rams (10-3-2) will host No. 6 Poquoson in the Conference 25 semifinals Tuesday.
