Amateur photographers who have captured York County in images are invited to enter the York County Library 2015 Digital Photography Contest.

Two photographs can be submitted in the contest through May 29. The photographs must have been taken in York County, and professionals and employees of the library and their immediate families may not enter.

Participants can submit two photographs, and entrants will be divided into two age categories: teens ages 13 to 17 and adults age 18 and over.

The entries will be published on social media in June, and judges will evaluate the photos based on appeal, content, composition, creativity and photographic skill.

The winners will be announced in June. The first-, second- and third-place winners in each category will be awarded $75, $50 and $25, respectively.

The contest is sponsored by the York County Arts Commission.
