Jamestown swept Tabb 5-0 at home Friday to advance to Monday’s Conference 19 finals.
The bottom four singles matches were settled quickly, with the No. 1 and No. 2 matches playing a slower pace due to their competitive nature.
With the No. 2 and No. 3 doubles matches well underway, Jamestown’s Derek Neilson capped the match by winning the third set 6-0 in the No. 2 singles.
The Eagles (13-0) will host Grafton on Monday at Kiwanis Park. Tabb finishes its season with a 6-6 record.

Grafton Sweeps Smithfield
Grafton’s boys tennis team made quick work of Smithfield during Friday’s 5-0 home win in the Conference 19 semifinals.
The Clippers took down Smithfield without dropping a set and have now won five consecutive matches.
Grafton (9-3) will get a rematch against Jamestown, which defeated Grafton 9-0 in the regular season, in the Conference 19 finals Monday.

York Drops Marathon Match in Conference 25 Final
York’s boys tennis team fought valiantly for more than seven hours, but found itself on the losing end of a 5-4 contest in the finals of the Conference 25 tournament.
This marks the second time this season York has lost to Colonial Heights 5-4.
Despite the loss, the Falcons (11-3) have earned an automatic berth into the Virginia High School’s Group 3A East team tournament.
