Upper York County’s sprawling water park will welcome guests Saturday and Sunday, however daily operation will not begin until May 22, according to a news release announcing the opening.

There will not be any new rides at the park this year. Last year, park officials unveiled Colossal Curl, a large new water slide located near the ticketing and entry gates.

The park is owned and operated by Sea World Entertainment, the same company that owns Busch Gardens in James City County. Its sister park last month welcomed Tempesto, a new roller coaster in Festa Italia.

Guests can buy a two-park fun card this year for $100 to gain unlimited access to both parks through Sept. 7. The pass can be purchased online.
