Jamestown’s Jeff Wolons scored a hat trick and added an assist to help lead the Eagles to a comfortable 5-0 road win against Warhill Friday evening.

Outside of Wolons’ first goal, which came 10 minutes into the game, the Warhill (4-3-2) defense contained Jamestown’s offense in the first half.

The Eagles held a 1-0 lead at halftime, but quickly put the game out of reach in the second half.

Ten minutes into the second half, Antonio Gonzalez found Wolons, who placed the ball into the net for his second goal of the game. Two minutes later, Gonzalez got into the scoring mix, scoring off an assist from Dan Kelly.

With 23 minutes left in the game, Wolons completed his hat trick as he slotted the ball into the net off another assist from Antonio Gonzalez.

The two players reversed roles for the game’s final goal as Wolons fed a pass to Gonzalez, who finished the shot to bring Jamestown’s lead to 5-0.

Jamestown (10-1) is in the midst of an eight-game winning streak and hopes to move the streak to nine games on the road against Tabb on Tuesday.

Warhill, who lost for the first time since April 13, will look to rebound against Lafayette on the road Monday.
