Coming off an 8-7 season, Jamestown yearned to get back to its former glory.

The Eagles are one step closer to achieving that goal as they earned the Bay Rivers District regular season title after defeating Tabb 9-0 at home Wednesday.

Jamestown dominated Tabb (3-8) in all nine matches, dropping six total games in the win. For Jamestown, the win marked its eighth straight.

The Eagles (11-1) and Tigers will await their matchups in the Conference 19 tournament, which will begin May 14.
