Junior Cameron Dail scored a pair of goals to help give York’s seniors a satisfying sendoff during the Falcons’ senior day.

York outpaced Tabb to earn a 3-2 victory at home Monday.

York’s Bailey McClure got the action started in the 13th minute of play when a ball was lifted over the top and fell at his feet. McClure finished the shot to put the Falcons up 1-0.

The Falcons notched a second goal just before halftime. Dail outran the Tabb (4-4-2) defense and ripped a shot into the back of the net with one second left in the first half.

York entered the half holding a 2-0 advantage.

Refusing to give York an easy senior day win, Tabb battled back in the second half thanks to goals from Hunter Winslow and Aaron Adams.

Dail’s second goal of the night proved to be the game-winner as the junior found the back of the net with 14 minutes left to play in the second half.

York (11-1) will travel to take on Southampton at 7 p.m. Thursday, while Tabb will travel to take on King’s Fork at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
