Rain Affects High School Sports Schedule For Second Straight Day

bat and ballFor the second straight day, rain in the area has forced the postponement of Historic Triangle high school sports.

Both baseball and softball games scheduled for today have been postponed until Monday.

Two soccer games scheduled for today, Grafton girls soccer at Nansemond River and Tabb girls soccer at home against King’s Fork, have been postponed.

Lafayette’s boys and girls soccer teams will play back-to-back at 5:30 and 7 p.m. against Heritage at Cooley Field. Warhill’s girls soccer team will host Park View at 6 p.m. at the Warhill Sports Complex.

The Grafton boys soccer team will host Nansemond River at 7 p.m., while Jamestown’s girls soccer team will host Norfolk Christian at Wanner Stadium at 7 p.m.

  • Grafton’s road game at Nansemond River has been postponed to May 8.
