Girls Soccer Roundup: Kirstyn Aldridge Scores Seven Goals in Warhill Rout

Kirstyn Aldridge scored seven goals during Warhill’s 14-0 rout against Park View-South Hill at home Friday.

Despite being down three players who have suffered concussions, the Lions had no trouble blowing by Park View.

Shaye Doherty had an impressive game, logging a hat trick and recording four assists. Her teammate Victoria Hall added a pair of goals.

Warhill has outscored its last three opponents by a margin of 25-1. The Lions will look to build on their three-game win streak when they take on a stout Jamestown team at home May 8.

Potter Scores Twice in Lafayette Win

The Lafayette (7-2) girls soccer team earned a decisive 7-0 home win against Heritage on Friday.

The Rams got two goals from Hannah Potter, as well as a goal and assist from Mackenzie Wilson.

Lafayette has won three games in a row and will look to make it four as the Rams travel to take on New Kent on Tuesday.
