York HighThe York boys tennis team made quick work of Lafayette on Tuesday, taking down the Rams 8-1 on the road.

The Falcons controlled the singles matches without dropping a set. York’s only loss of the day game in the No. 3 doubles match, which Lafayette won with an 8-6 margin.

York remains undefeated on the season with a record of 7-0, while Lafayette drops to 3-6 with the loss.

Both teams face quick turnarounds, with York’s biggest test of the season upcoming. The Falcons will host undefeated Jamestown at 4 p.m. Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Lafayette will hit the road to take on Smithfield at 4 p.m. Wednesday.
