Warhill Narrowly Defeats York

Two unearned runs in the top of the fifth inning helped give Warhill a 3-2 road victory against York on Friday.

Warhill’s (9-3) Hayley Schulz recorded the only RBI for the Lions in the win.

The win snaps a two-game losing streak for Warhill. The Lions will look to continue their winning ways with a home game upcoming against Bruton on Thursday. The Falcons will continue their season at home Tuesday against Poquoson.

New Kent Stifles Jamestown

Eagles pitcher Arianna Reynolds held New Kent in check for most of the night, minus a tough third inning that featured four New Kent runs.

Jamestown will try to snap a three-game losing streak when the Eagles take on Smithfield at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday.
