Joan Trainor, of Williamsburg, died April 14, 2015. She celebrated her 84th birthday on April 10, 2015, with her children surrounding her.
Joan was born in Peabody, Massachusetts and lived much of her adult life in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, but had been a resident of Williamsburg for over 20 years.
She is survived by a special friend, George Thompson, of Williamsburg; three children: son, George (Jr.), of Ellicott City, Maryland and daughters, Karen Andersen, of Melbourne, Florida and Robin Masci, of Cleveland; along with many wonderful in-laws, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband George.
An open house for her many friends will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, April 26, 2015, at her residence.
Donations in her honor can be made to The Lackey Free Clinic or the Heritage Humane Society, both in Williamsburg.
