Two men are accused of holding a 25-year-old man at gunpoint and robbing him of cash, video games and other items.
James City County Police arrested Ronnie Terrell Berkley Jr., 20, and Qua’juan Antonio Graves, 19, on Friday afternoon in the 200 block of Ivy Hill Road.
Just before noon Friday, officers responded to the Station at Norge Apartments on Croaker Road, where a 25-year-old man told them Berkley and Graves had entered his apartment, pointed guns at him and taken items, Deputy Chief Steve Rubino wrote in a news release Friday afternoon.
Berkley and Graves took cash from the accuser and forced him into a rear bedroom while they stole an Xbox game console, a Sony Playstation, various video games and DVDs, Rubino said.
The accuser heard one of the suspects refer to himself as “RJ” before they left the area in a small red car, Rubino said. He then called police.
The man also called his roommate, who said he knew the suspects and knew RJ lived on Ivy Hill Road.
Officers located the small red car and the two suspects a short time after receiving the report and took them into custody.
Graves and Berkley, who are both from James City County, were charged with robbery, home invasion, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony and brandishing a firearm, all of which are felonies.
They are being held at Virginia Peninsula Regional Jail without bond.
