Sally G. Dewey, of Williamsburg Landing, formerly of Carmel, CA, passed away April 11, 2014. She was 91.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James M.R. Glaser and Margaret B. Glaser; her husband, Hartley C. Dewey; and her siblings, Joanie, Ted and Jimmy.

Mrs. Dewey attended Vassar College and worked as a Master Needleworker with the Embroiderer’s Guild of America. She was associated with the Monterey Symphony Guild and EGA and also enjoyed needlepoint, knitting and bridge.

Mrs. Dewey is survived by her sons, Hartley F. Dewey (Lorraine), Craig C. Dewey (Patricia) and Alan B. Dewey; daughter, Deborah Dewey; grandchildren, Shannon, Lee, Kendall, Sarah, John, Elizabeth, Christopher, Heather and Jennifer; eight great- grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and sister, Margaret G. Winnett.
